
Using FilmScan Express, you may chose from four scan
resolutions. If
you just want to view your images on your PC or send them by
e-mail, then choose 600 dpi, but if you wish to print quality
images we recommend one of our higher scan resolutions. The
chart below provides a guide:

On image pixel size -
When we scan your films a margin is created to ensure that we capture the full frame
without any cut-off. If you ask us to crop this margin, your finished image size
will be slightly smaller than indicated.
- On
file size - This is an approximation.
Your file size on disk will vary slightly from image to
image, due to the mechanics of JPG compression.
